Nichols Cutting

Nichols Cutting, one of our co-founders, helped establish the firm in 2001. He had a broad background in investments, retirement plans, estate and trust planning and complex tax issues. He had expertise in estate taxation and administration. He earned his BA and MBA at the University of California Berkley.

 

Nick served on the Oregon Board of Accountancy Uniform Accountancy Act Task Force and was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He contributed extensively to the Oregon Society of Certified Public Accountants by serving on the Board of Directors, By-Laws Committee, Ethics Committee and Peer Review Committee. Nick also served with distinction on the City of Corvallis Budget Commission, including six years as its Chair.

 

Nick was a lover of live theater, art museums, fine dining, and Dixieland jazz. His years of professional experience, sage counsel and calm demeanor will be missed at SSCAPM.
